CCAC: The Perfect Combination of Ingenuity and Optimism
Currently led by the third generation of the Concepcion family, Concepcion-Carrier Air Conditioning (CCAC) survived political instability and economic crisis to become the market leader in virtually all categories of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment and services for the Philippines. The company and its air-con products cater to a broad range of the commercial and consumer population, leading the Philippines in manufactured quality and innovation.
“In the beginning of the 21st century, it became our goal to compete on the international level,” says Raul Joseph Concepcion, President and CEO of CCAC. “Now, we want to be the partner of choice for both foreign and domestic entities.”
While the company is still family-owned, the management holds their employees to the highest ethical and professional standards. In 2013, CII celebrated 51 years ofsuccess, business ingenuity, and passion. Looking into the future, Concepcion plans on the company growing even further thanks to the international attention the Philippines has gained with this current administration.
“President Aquino right now is doing a great job,” he states. “But he is only one leader. As a company, we always look at politics from a business sense, as we make investments of up to twenty to thirty years. It is our responsibility as the business community to drive the changes within the economy and to support him in getting rid of corruption.”
Concepcion laughs, “Like this country, CCAC is here on the bullet train, and we’re going to go 200 miles (per hour??, what’s 200 miles? ) forward. Now, either get on board, or get out of the way.” With a long history of international partnerships and local market leadership, CCAC continues to stand for world-class excellence in manufacturing and distributing air conditioners.
